2024 International Hairdressing Awards® announce the finalists

• The 18 finalists of the six categories, chosen by the jury from the hundreds of participating collections, come from 5 countries: United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, France and United States

• The International Hairdressing Awards® 2024 will take place on April 29th in Lisbon (Portugal)

Last Sunday, 25th February, the International Hairdressing Awards announced the 18 finalists of the 2024 competition with a global live broadcasting from Artero’s headquarter in Vilassar de Dalt, in Spain. 

The names of the 18 nominated hairdressers, who come from 5 different countries, were revealed:

The eighteen finalist collections have been chosen with the help of an exceptional jury panel, made of five renowned industry icons: Robert Lobetta (USA), Anabela Pereira (Portugal), Tony Rizzo (United Kingdom), Anthony Mascolo (United Kingdom) and Luis Romero (Spain).

The 2024 awards ceremony will take place in Lisbon (Portugal) on April 29th. In March, Mikel Luzea, IHA director and founder, and Sergi Bancells, global ambassador of the awards, will travel around the world together to announce personally the awards to the winners, by surprise and with live broadcasting via Internet.

After this world tour, the seven winners will be invited to attend the great night of the hairdressing industry in Lisbon, on April 29th, where the International Hairdressing Awards®’ evening will consist again of a purple carpet -the red carpet of global hairdressing-, a catwalk with the most important hairdressing teams of the world, and the awards ceremony, where all the winners will be crowned.

The sixth year

In its sixth year, participation has registered great figures: almost 500 collections from 32 different countries have entered to participate with their photographic work in the categories of Best International Women’s Collection, Best International Men’s Collection and Best International Avant-Garde Collection. In addition, the hairdressers and artistic teams that had been shortlisted to participate in the categories of International Hairdresser of the Year and International Artistic Team of the Year were invited to submit their applications, consisting of a photographic collection and a dossier summarizing their professional career in the last year.
