The International Hairdressing Awards announce the teams who will perform on stage on the runway show during the great night of hairdressing industry, on 29th April in Lisbon (Portugal). Six of the most renowned hairdressing teams in the world will present their latest collections, their knowledge and inspiration in a high level show: Emmanuel Esteban (France), Errol Douglas MBE (United Kingdom), Fabio Ziccardi (Italy), Jorge X & Janos Deri (Spain/Germany), Mark Leeson Art Team (United Kingdom) and Toni&Guy Artistic Team (United Kingdom). An amazing display of talent that will bring together in the same show some of the most leading firms in the current hairdressing scene.

Tickets for 2024 International Hairdressing Awards’ ceremony are already on sale at www.ihawards.com. The price of the tickets is 200 euros and include access to the purple carpet, the runway show, the awards ceremony, the after-show cocktail-dinner and the after-show party. The great night of global hairdressing will gather in Lisbon (Portugal) hairdressers from around the world. The awards ceremony of this sixth year will take place on 29th April 2024, with a glittering event: the catwalk show with some of the most important teams of the world, the fabulous purple carpet, and a Hollywood-style awards ceremony with all the glamour that this industry deserves.

The teams

Emmanuel Esteban (France) is a renowned French hairstylist in London, founded the E’S Project, uniting creative talents. Globally recognised for his work and award-winning collections, he’s recently won the AIPP Grand Trophy Award. This complements his British Hairdresser of the Year award in the Avant-Garde category and the Visionary Award, marking his global impact in hairdressing. When not attending to his clients at the chic “Salon Sloane” in Chelsea’s Sloane Square, Emmanuel Esteban is often behind the scenes at fashion shows, photoshoots, and music videos, or presenting seminars and shows internationally.

Errol Douglas MBE (United Kingdom) is one of the most respected names in modern hairdressing. Recognised throughout the world and known for his ever-evolving brand of glamorous hair that has no boundaries – creatively, or in its origins – he’s simply one of the best. Globally award-winning, Errol has run his prestigious Belgravia salon for four decades. As well as tending to a long list of celebrity clientele and working with some of the most elite brands on shows and photoshoots, Errol has recently taken up residency at the Peninsula Hotel in London with his own atelier salon. As part of their new spa and wellness centre, it allows the Errol Douglas brand to bring back the craftsmanship and individuality of traditional hairdressing in a beautiful, bespoke space.

Fabio Ziccardi (Italy) was born in London to Italian parents. A second-generation stylist, he has managed a hair salon in Lucera (FG, Italy) for nearly 20 years: Ziccardi Fabio Hair Stylist (Shapes and Colours), dedicating himself to his life’s passion. Since 2010, alongside his styling work, he has also been a stylistic trainer for Revlon Professional, contributing to the creation of various fashion collections and photo services. He has participated in several contests, including Style Master 2015 in Rome. A winner of the Best Creativity Awards, he was a finalist at the 2022 IVA Alternative Hair Show in the Avant-garde category and currently serves as Master Artistic Educator for Revlon Professional.

JorgeX & Janos Deri present Quantum, the revolutionary first project of two industry visionaries: JorgeX, co-founder of X-presion and passionate innovator, and the talented filmmaker and artist based in Germany, Janos Deri. As a founding member of X-presion, JorgeX has left an indelible mark on the world of hairdressing. His creative genius and tireless dedication have led him to win the most prestigious awards and adorn the covers of the most influential magazines in the field. His impact transcends traditional boundaries, making them a viral sensation on social media thanks to the innovative techniques developed alongside X-presion that continued in parallel. Janos Deri, born in Hungary in 1969, began his artistic journey in sculpture and later expanded into graphic design. Even as a student, he immersed himself in galleries that soon became wellsprings of inspiration. As a creative force and filmmaker, Deri found in the visual language a means to connect with people on an international scale.

Mark Leeson’s iconic style saw him scoop the coveted British Hairdresser of the Year title in 2014 and go on to be awarded almost every significant industry title ever since. Most recent wins include International Hairdresser of the Year at the Australian Hairdressing Industry Awards (AHIA) 2023 and as Artistic Team of the Year at both the IHAs and BHAs. As Global Artistic Ambassador for Revlon Professional, Mark’s work is highly regarded throughout the world, combining technical expertise with commercial appeal, and cutting-edge precision with flawless, feminine style. Much emulated and instantly recognisable, he has created an entire brand with beautiful hair as its hallmark.

Toni&Guy Artistic Team is a diverse group of the company’s senior hairdressers, specialising in session and editorial, avant-garde, barbering and much more, they are the brand's style leaders and ambassadors. The team split their time between teaching at our flagship London Academy, creating the hair for editorial photoshoots and providing expert advice and guidance to the media. They also bring Toni&Guy's innovative techniques to trendsetting events including London Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards. As passionate ambassadors of British hairdressing, their unique educational approach is based on the philosophy of motivating and inspiring through teamwork. And as the industry changes, so do they. Constantly evolving ideas and trends to excite and stimulate, all delivered with a stage presence rich in originality and energy.

The sixth year

In its sixth year, participation has registered great fgures: almost 500 collections from 32 different countries have entered to participate with their photographic work in the categories of Best International Women’s Collection, Best International Men’s Collection and Best International Avant-Garde Collection. In addition, the hairdressers and artistic teams that had been shortlisted to participate in the categories of International Hairdresser of the Year and International Artistic Team of the Year were invited to submit their applications, consisting of a photographic collection and a dossier summarizing their professional career in the last year.
